In the online form, we’ll ask you some basic questions about your jewelry, and ask you to upload a photo for our experts to review.Schedule Shipping
We can arrange either shipping or drop-off of your items to our offices. You can choose from FedEx pickup, FedEx drop-off, or office drop-off. Shipping is fully covered by Worthy and fully insured by insurers at Lloyd’s of London.
Prep for Sale
Our team of gemologists and 3rd party, objective graders will prepare your jewelry for auction by cleaning, grading, and photographing it for you in a way that attracts the attention of potential buyers.CleaningWe carefully remove any dirt or tarnish to make it sparkle.
External gradingJewelry is inspected by objective industry-leading labs like GIA, GHI, and IGI. Watches are inspected by Central Watch.
Beauty shotsYour piece is professionally photographed from every angle so that buyers can get a closer look.
Online Auction
Once you set a reserve price and start your online auction, youʼll be able to watch the offers roll in.Reserve priceA reserve price is the lowest amount you're willing to sell for. We'll recommend one for you based on the grading report and cleaning we perform for you. But you’re in control – you can accept ours, or set your own reserve price.
Auction listingWe'll list your item with a detailed description, beauty shots, and the third-party grading report.
Live auctionPush the button, and your auction will be live for 48 to 72 hours. You can view your item and watch as offers are made.
Buyer networkOnce live, the 1K+ professional industry buyers on our platform can view and bid on your item.
Get Paid
Once your item is sold, you'll get the final sale amount, minus Worthy's fee, which is a percentage of the sale price.
Payment methodYou can receive your payment via a bank transfer, PayPal or check. The choice is yours.
Payment timelineWe collect payment from the buyer within 5-7 business days of the sale, and often sooner*. Once received, we process your payment. The timeline depends on the payment method you choose:
- Bank Transfer (ACH): 1-3 business days
- PayPal: Same day
- Checks: 4-5 business days
Worthy’s feesYour only cost is the Worthy Success Fee. The fee is a percentage of your final selling price, so you know we're on your side - our interest is your interest. And if your item doesn't sell for the price you want, your jewelry will be returned to you free of charge.**
** For Jewelry Box (3 or more items), a flat fee of 18%* applies.
